The CABLES link supports any item that attaches one electronic device or component to another via a cable and connectors at each end, like an HDMI or USB cable, etc. Mostly COMPUTER and AUDIO/VIDEO cables. The cable's application will be noted below. If any of the items listed here relate to another AREA, you might find the same item listed twice. Examples would be an audio/video cable listed at the A/V and CABLES links or a book listed at the BOOKS and EDUCATE links, etc. Newest item listings (largest item numbers) are at the TOP of each AREA MENU page. |

Item 183: A bunch of adapters. Ya think! And a few USB gender changers too. As far as adapters are concerned, if you can't convert old to new with these guys, then you have a real problem. Item 172: A bunch of single audio [or video] RCA patch cables. Need an extra male/male single RCA cable to make a composite run? Or just a few dollars to make the $25 minimum? As you can see from the picture, I have a dozen or so of them. These cables sell for a couple of dollars each, depending on where you buy them. Price: $1 each |

Item 171: 2-Channel Stereo Audio RCA patch cables in very long lengths. There are two 25-foot length cables shown. One has male/male RCA connectors on each end. The other has male RCA connectors on one end and female RCA connectors on the other. Connecting the male and female RCA ends together gives you a 50-foot long 2-channel Audio patch cable, as shown connected in the picture. The black and red RCA connectors are for [right and left channel] stereo audio. These longer lengths do come in handy, so I will probably regret selling them in the not to distant future. For clarification, each cable includes two [bundled/attached] single cables, as shown. As you can see from the picture, I only have this mated pair, so they're not sold separately. These cables sell for about $5 to $10 for each 25-foot length, depending on where you buy them. Price: $10 takes both, creating a 50-foot cable run. |

Item 170: 2-Channel Stereo Audio RCA patch cables. The white and red RCA connectors are for [right and left channel] stereo audio. As you can see from the picture (above right), I really have a bunch of these [not so hi-end] 2-channel stereo patch cables. Available in 3-foot and 6-foot lengths. Your choice. For clarification, each cable includes two [bundled/attached] single male/male cables, as shown above. These cables sell for about $4 to $7 each, depending on where you buy them. Price: $3 each, 4 for $10 |

Item 169: Audio/Video Composite cable sets. The yellow RCA connector is for composite video. The other white and red RCA connectors are for [right and left channel] stereo audio. As you can see from the picture (above right), I really have a bunch of these [not so hi-end] composite A/V cables. Of course, composite A/V patch cables do not need to be made in hi-end because the signals transmitted through them are not hi-def. Monster, and a few others, make hi-end composite A/V cables, just because they can. Available in 3-foot and 6-foot lengths. Some have large-diameter video cables. First ones get the [larger video] component A/V cables. Your choice. For clarification, each cable includes three single [bundled/attached] male/male cables, as shown above. These cables sell for about $5 to $10 each, depending on where you buy them. Price: $4 each, 3 for $10 |

Item 168: Standard grade S-Video cables. No name or identification. S-video is designed for about 400 lines of resolution, so they will work just fine for all standard-def S-Video applications. I have about a half dozen in 6-foot lengths, as shown in the picture. One has gold plated ends. First purchase gets the gold. Price: $5 each or 2 for $8 |

Item 167: AR (Acoustic Research) Pro-Series High-Definition S-Video Cables in various lengths. 24K Gold plated connector ends, 99.97% oxygen-free copper conductors, nitrogen injected dielectric, double layered shielding, etc. A very good set of cables, way beyond what the average person would purchase. In my opinion, AR makes some of the best cabling for a very reasonable price, compared to others. For clarification, "each" describes one cable with S-Video connectors on each end. The picture shows a bunch of S-Video cables. Most are ARs, one is a Monster of equivalent performance. I have 3 AR cables in a 3-foot length. I have one AR cable in a 6-foot length. I have one Monster cable in a 4-foot length. 1-meter cables sell for about $40 each. 2-meter cables sell for about $50 each. Your choice. Price: $15 each |

Item 166: High-Resolution RCA Audio Cable in a 2-meter (6-foot) length. Gold plated connector ends. Don't know anything else about these [no-name brand] cables. A fairly good cable that will serve well. Definitely much better than what you get in the box. For clarification, this is a single cable with an RCA connector on each end, as shown in the picture (above left). This is what you get when you purchase one cable for the price listed. As you can see in the picture (above right), I have over a dozen of these single cables. They are all NEW. Never used. They sell for about $10 each. Price: $5 each, 6 for $20 |

For clarification, one set (pair) is shown in the picture. This is what you get when you purchase one cable set for the price listed. I have 4 of these cable sets. They sell for about $15 to $20 each. Price: $9 |

In my opinion, these cables are equal to ARs. For clarification, one set (pair) is shown in the picture. This is what you get when you purchase one cable set for the price listed. I have 2 of these cable sets. They sell for about $25 to $30 each. Price: $15 |

In my opinion, AR makes some of the best cabling for a very reasonable price, compared to others. For clarification, one set (pair) is shown in the picture. Item 162: Want cheap component video cables? Well, here they are. No name or identification. They will work just fine for most standard-def video applications. May even pass [up to] 1080i signals with minimal artifacts and/or picture degradation? I have 2 of them, as shown in the picture. Your choice, black (4') or gray (6'). Price: $10 each or both for $15 |

Item 161: AR (Acoustic Research) High-Resolution Component Video Cables in a 1-meter (3-foot) length. Yet, another set of hi-end component video cables that sell new for about $60. Same basic specs as the Monster ones below. 24K Gold plated connector ends, 99.97% oxygen-free copper conductors, nitrogen injected dielectric, centered conductors, double braided shielding, etc. A very good set of cables, way beyond what the average person would purchase. However, they are barely comparable to the ones at the top of this page, in that they are both cables. In my humble opinion, AR makes cabling that is equal or better than the generally overpriced Monster cables on the market. Price: $25 |

Item 160: Monster High-Resolution Component Video Cables in a 2-meter (6-foot) length. Mfg#MV3CV-2M. Another set of hi-end component video cables that sell new for about what I am asking for Item 159 below. 24K Gold plated connector ends, 99.97% oxygen-free copper conductors, nitrogen injected dielectric, double foil and braid shielding, etc. A very good set of cables, way beyond what the average person would purchase. However, they are barely comparable to the ones at the top of this page, in that they are both cables. I have 2 of these cable sets. Price: $45 each |

Item 159: This is the ultimate hi-end component video trio in 24 carat heavy GOLD plating. Whoa! Prism Video HT cables with Tara Labs compression-twist connectors, and the cable is 6-feet long too. Just turn the outer 24K GOLD plated cylinder to compress the inner 24K GOLD plated ring and lock the 24K GOLD plated connectors in place. These babies have it all. 99.9997% oxygen-free copper conductors, nitrogen injected cellular dielectrics, sealed "water-tight" connector ends (you could even use these underwater), triple braided shielding for maximum rejection of EM and RF interference, clear Nylon outer covering, etc., etc. Did I say 24K Heavy GOLD plated connectors? They are also balanced (long story) so they have directional arrows on each end, so don't install them backwards or the picture may come out your speakers. Did I really say that? Moving on, I bought this ridiculously expensive component video trio a few years ago, at a deep-discount, for $300 because they were a really good deal. They listed for $600! For the uninitiated, that's really not too outrageous for hi-end cabling. I've seen lesser cables selling in the "4-figures" range. Price: $95 |
